23 weeks and 2 days ;-)

Wow long time no post. Well time has been flying by. We had another appointment a week and 1/2 ago, thing are looking great and Conor has a strong heart beat. Next appointment will be on Aug. 19th we'll be almost 26 weeks by then, YAY.

Wednesday we are getting Conor's furniture, tomorrow the painters are coming to start on the nursery and well throughout the weeks most of our baby stuff should arrive, so we'll be ready for baby before we go on our babymoon in September. Work has time made go by super fast which is awesome. We are getting sooooooo excited to welcome little Conor into this world.

I'll be posting some progress picture of the nursery a long the way ;-)

IT'S A BOY!

Sorry, this is kind of late ;-( Anyway we had our big Ultrasound last Tuesday and found out that we are expecting a little boy. We already had a name picked out way ahead of time "Conor Walker Baal" so we are super excited to welcome this little Baaler in late November.

The ultrasound went great, but Conor did not really want to get his picture taken. We got one cute shot.

The ultrasound tech took tons of measurements and we were able to see Conor's feet, legs, hands and little finger, his little heart and after lots of tries even his nose and lips, SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!

Here is a belly shot at 20 weeks, my belly is about 38" now.

Time seems to fly bye like crazy, the hubby and even went shopping at Baby's R Us and who would have though that I would have to hold Eric back from buying every single thing. We already got a nice glider for the room and a couple of sleep and play outfits.

Anyway our next appointment will be in about 2 weeks, I'll be 22 weeks by then ;-)

15 weeks ;-)

This week was not so pleasant as I had bad stomach pain and started getting pretty bad skin allergies ;-(. We luckily got a Dr. appointment to check on my stomach pain and make sure the baby is ok and, yes baby is doing great. Eric said it sounded like a little robot when he heard baby's heartbeat soooooo cute. The Dr. was actually able to suggest some stuff to take for my allergies as well so I'm feeling much better, no more itching every two second. The stomach pain was nothing major so that is good. Anyway we have another check up in 2 weeks and then our big ultrasound in 3 and 1/2 weeks.

Eric also took an update picture of my belly today. I started measuring my belly to see how much it is grows and it went from 34" at about 12 weeks to now about 36.5" YAY.

13 week check up

Well we had our 13 week check up today, nothing crazy just checking my blood pressure and the baby's heart beat. It is beating very strong and rather fast so some would conclude girl, but we'll see what the Ultrasound Technician says in 5 weeks and 5 days. I guess let the guessing begin ;-) Our next check up is in 4 weeks on June 25th, yay. I can't believe we'll be 4 months by then, CRAZY how fast time goes by.

And we passed 12 weeks ;-)

I am 12 weeks and 1 day today, well according to the doctor I am 12 weeks and 5 days today, so whoop whoop only 191days ;-)

We kind of forgot taking a belly pic last week, so we took one today and wow the difference is quite noticeable at least to me. I feel more like a blob than pregnant but that belly will only get bigger. 7 more days until our next Dr. appointment and we will be done with trimester # 1!!!

Happy Mother's Day

Oh what a great weekend ;-) My lovely husband got me some really pretty roses on Saturday as for some reason I was just totally not feeling my self. He also decided to help me keep that pregnancy weight in check by buying me Sour Patches and Life Safe Sour Gummies. We spent the night in great company with our good friends Melody and Jack and some delicious Chicago Style pizza.

On Sunday morning my little Chloe Bear was all excited to hand me a card for mother's day, what a sweetheart I hope she will be equally as excited for the new addition. At night our dear friends Rachel and Jim came over for dinner and brought over the most beautiful pink tulips for mother's day for me (as Rachel is set that this little Baal will be a girl). We had the most amazing Cesar Salad and well once again Chicago Style Pizza, sooooooooo good ;-).

The Daddy Quiz

Eric took a quiz the other day about what kind of dad he will be and please note:

Ha, I'm gonna be a great daddy according to this quiz lol :-D

Diapers, baths, late-night feedings -- this dad will handle them all like a pro. You can count on him to administer the medicine for baby's first ear infection, and he'll probably want to take Junior to the doctor, as well. In fact, hands-on dads are so involved that they make great primary caregivers (this is the dad you want at home if you're planning to return to work). His parenting style will be based on nurturing, togetherness, and total involvement -- being there for his child will be his first priority.

Just in case he forgets, now it's blue on green so he won't be able to get out of diaper changes and sometimes getting up at night ;-).
