We are on our final stretch 13 more days til due date. Last week we were at about 3cm and 80% so making progress. I still try to walk my 3 to 4 miles ever day in the hope of getting the little guy to move down further.
We are seeing the Dr. on Tuesday morning for another check up so we'll see what the status is. We are definitely waiting until our due date to consider maybe getting induced given that my mom will be here on the 29th. So keep your fingers crossed maybe he'll decide to pop before then.
We are for sure ready for little "c", the hospital bags are packed so now only waiting ;-).

Long time no post ;-(
Wow a month has passed since I last posted. We had our maternity/family photo shoot with Colson not too long ago and the pictures turned out amazing! You can check them out on his blog at http://blog.colsongriffith.com/ . We had quite a few visitors over the past couple of weeks, which has been great as it made time fly by even faster ;-) Last weekend I got started on getting all my stuff together for the hospital and buying the rest of the items that were still on the list for Conor. I hope by next Monday we'll be set and ready to go if the moment should arrive early ;-)
We had a Dr. appointment today and we are about 1.5cm and 60% so off to a good start. I just gotta keep on walking and hoping that little guy will start doing his job ;-) Crazy to think that we are only 31 days from our due date. We'll see the Dr. again next week so we'll see what progress we made.
We are also getting our car seat inspected/installed today so we can give Conor a safe ride home once he decides to pop out ;-)
Other than that there is nothing new Conor is one bouncy baby with lots of hiccups, which he gets at the oddest times.

Babymoon
Eric and I spent 7 wonderful days on Oahu at the Turtle Bay Resort. It was amazing trip and we enjoyed lots of time at the pool doing absolutely nothing but relaxing. The weather was well tropical I guess some rain but mostly sunny. We were super sad to leave but I guess that means that Conor's bday is getting closer. Here are a couple of the pics Eric took, I was about 30.5 weeks.

29 weeks ;-)
I just wanted to post a quick update pic of my growing belly. We are 29 weeks and 1 day pregnant today and it's hard to believe how fast this time has gone by. We'll be on our way to Hawaii on Wednesday sooooo excited. This will be our last big splash without baby Conor so we are looking forward to a nice and relaxing time laying out by the pool and beach and just enjoying quiet time. Anyway here is the belly shot.
Belly at 29 weeks and about 41.5 inches.

AS usual here are two doodle pics ;-)She is super excited to meet her brother and can't wait to race him through the house.

80 more days ;-)
Just 80 more days until our due date. We are leaving for our babymoon in just a few days to enjoy some much needed relaxation in Oahu. Yesterday we saw the specialist again to check on the blood work they ran while back and everything looks normal so I guess so far so good. We also saw our regular doctor and while there we discussed our options, since I don't have to take the blood thinner shots there is no reason to induce me early which means Eric and I can hope for a normal labor process. It is amazing how fast time has gone by and I cannot believe that we are already in the third trimester. Soon we'll be starting our birthing class and once that is over there are only three weeks left wow. Conor has been doing great my belly is getting bigger so I assume he is growing and developing just fine. He's been real active lately especially at night which has made it a little harder to getting a full night of sleep in. But good thing is I'm back to work part time, which makes it nice for naps on most of the days ;-). Anyway our next appointment will be fate Hawaii in about 3weeks, we'll be 31 weeks by then with less than 9 weeks to go, YAY!!! Maybe I can get Eric to take a belly shot this weekend so we can post un updated one before we leave.

Perinatologist Appointment
Eric and I had to see the perinatologist (not sure I spelled this right) today as I had a blood test for clotting and well I guess I have thick blood and am more likely to develop clots ;-(. He took a real good look at Conor and his heart and organs and said he looks great and healthy so we'll see what the next couple of weeks bring. Conor is already about 2lbs, CRAZY!!! We'll see our Dr. on Thursday for a check up and I guess more blood work for more tests ;-( I hate needles. Anyway here are a couple of pictures from today.

Eric also took a couple other pics of me and Chloe and a belly shot and I gotta say its definitely getting bigger ;-)

Conor's Room
Well Eric and I had Conor's room painted last week and had chair-rail put up. We got the furniture on Wednesday and started to put the room together. So the decorations and curtains are up and now all we are missing is Conor ;-) But at least we'll be able to go on our babymoon not having to come back and work on putting up curtains and stuff, YAY.

23 weeks and 2 days ;-)
Wow long time no post. Well time has been flying by. We had another appointment a week and 1/2 ago, thing are looking great and Conor has a strong heart beat. Next appointment will be on Aug. 19th we'll be almost 26 weeks by then, YAY.
Wednesday we are getting Conor's furniture, tomorrow the painters are coming to start on the nursery and well throughout the weeks most of our baby stuff should arrive, so we'll be ready for baby before we go on our babymoon in September. Work has time made go by super fast which is awesome. We are getting sooooooo excited to welcome little Conor into this world.
I'll be posting some progress picture of the nursery a long the way ;-)

IT'S A BOY!
Sorry, this is kind of late ;-( Anyway we had our big Ultrasound last Tuesday and found out that we are expecting a little boy. We already had a name picked out way ahead of time "Conor Walker Baal" so we are super excited to welcome this little Baaler in late November.
The ultrasound went great, but Conor did not really want to get his picture taken. We got one cute shot.

The ultrasound tech took tons of measurements and we were able to see Conor's feet, legs, hands and little finger, his little heart and after lots of tries even his nose and lips, SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!
Here is a belly shot at 20 weeks, my belly is about 38" now.

Time seems to fly bye like crazy, the hubby and even went shopping at Baby's R Us and who would have though that I would have to hold Eric back from buying every single thing. We already got a nice glider for the room and a couple of sleep and play outfits.
Anyway our next appointment will be in about 2 weeks, I'll be 22 weeks by then ;-)

15 weeks ;-)
This week was not so pleasant as I had bad stomach pain and started getting pretty bad skin allergies ;-(. We luckily got a Dr. appointment to check on my stomach pain and make sure the baby is ok and, yes baby is doing great. Eric said it sounded like a little robot when he heard baby's heartbeat soooooo cute. The Dr. was actually able to suggest some stuff to take for my allergies as well so I'm feeling much better, no more itching every two second. The stomach pain was nothing major so that is good. Anyway we have another check up in 2 weeks and then our big ultrasound in 3 and 1/2 weeks.
Eric also took an update picture of my belly today. I started measuring my belly to see how much it is grows and it went from 34" at about 12 weeks to now about 36.5" YAY.

13 week check up
Well we had our 13 week check up today, nothing crazy just checking my blood pressure and the baby's heart beat. It is beating very strong and rather fast so some would conclude girl, but we'll see what the Ultrasound Technician says in 5 weeks and 5 days. I guess let the guessing begin ;-) Our next check up is in 4 weeks on June 25th, yay. I can't believe we'll be 4 months by then, CRAZY how fast time goes by.

And we passed 12 weeks ;-)
I am 12 weeks and 1 day today, well according to the doctor I am 12 weeks and 5 days today, so whoop whoop only 191days ;-)
We kind of forgot taking a belly pic last week, so we took one today and wow the difference is quite noticeable at least to me. I feel more like a blob than pregnant but that belly will only get bigger. 7 more days until our next Dr. appointment and we will be done with trimester # 1!!!

Happy Mother's Day
Oh what a great weekend ;-) My lovely husband got me some really pretty roses on Saturday as for some reason I was just totally not feeling my self. He also decided to help me keep that pregnancy weight in check by buying me Sour Patches and Life Safe Sour Gummies. We spent the night in great company with our good friends Melody and Jack and some delicious Chicago Style pizza.
On Sunday morning my little Chloe Bear was all excited to hand me a card for mother's day, what a sweetheart I hope she will be equally as excited for the new addition. At night our dear friends Rachel and Jim came over for dinner and brought over the most beautiful pink tulips for mother's day for me (as Rachel is set that this little Baal will be a girl). We had the most amazing Cesar Salad and well once again Chicago Style Pizza, sooooooooo good ;-).

The Daddy Quiz
Eric took a quiz the other day about what kind of dad he will be and please note:
Ha, I'm gonna be a great daddy according to this quiz lol :-D
Diapers, baths, late-night feedings -- this dad will handle them all like a pro. You can count on him to administer the medicine for baby's first ear infection, and he'll probably want to take Junior to the doctor, as well. In fact, hands-on dads are so involved that they make great primary caregivers (this is the dad you want at home if you're planning to return to work). His parenting style will be based on nurturing, togetherness, and total involvement -- being there for his child will be his first priority.
Just in case he forgets, now it's blue on green so he won't be able to get out of diaper changes and sometimes getting up at night ;-).

9 week prenatal visit
Finally the day has come ;-) I've been counting down the days til today to finally get to see the baby again and know that everything is ok. After filling out tons of paper work Eric and I got to see our baby on the ultrasound screen. The Dr. called it a little Gummy Bear cuz, well it did kind of look like one ;-). He pointed out the head and the arms and legs, soooooooo cute. Needless to say we were super excited when he turned up the sound and we got to listen to the baby's heart beat. It was super fast but wow this was like the most amazing thing ever!!! The baby even did a little wiggle for us and we got a real good look at that little heart beating away ;-)

So after measuring the baby it turned out I am 9 weeks and 1 day. Our due date however was calculated on me being 9 weeks and 5 days so Baby Baal is expected to arrive around November 27th ;-).
Now it's time to wait again until in 4 weeks for my next check up. I will be 13 weeks and 1 day by then, CRAZY!
